What do we provide?
Interim managers are increasingly seen as an effective resource and an affordable way of dealing with immediate or short-term requirements helping to ease growing pressures on the public services.
Historically, senior managers have looked to in-house for solutions; this is often no longer viable, or even desirable, in many situations. Asking hard-pressed staff to take on more is generally counter-productive, or simply the necessary skills are not available.
Your Choice Interims can supply our client organisations with top quality Associates at a cost which is affordable.
How do we do this?
We do not charge a mark up on the day rate of the Associate and only charge a one off introductory fee.
Do we cut back on any parts of the service you would get from other more expensive suppliers?
No we are still able to provide a high quality service and excellent support with selected Associates who are carefully checked, interviewed and referenced.

YCI is passionate about both the public and private sectors and is committed to giving a high quality service to its clients. We provide support for the public, private and not for profit sectors, sourcing and placing carefully selected, interviewed and referenced registered Associates to meet the varying needs of a range of client organisations.
YCI is able to provide a one-stop shop for chief executives and senior managers in all disciplines of private sectors, local and central government, education, health and social care, housing, police, fire service and other related bodies.
When should Interim Management be used?
Interim Management is most relevant when you have a short-term need for a particular type of expertise. Examples might include:
- a period of change or transition
- filling a gap between a manager's departure and recruiting a replacement
- acquiring a new subsidiary company
- managing a one-off project
- opening up a new market
Why use Interim Management rather than consultants?
Interim Management has a number of important benefits, when compared with consultancy:
- Higher expertise at lower cost:
Interim Managers are usually very high calibre individuals, often having significantly more expertise and experience than you would expect of a permanent manager in that position.
- Closer relationship with you and better integration into the organisation:
The temporary manager becomes a full-time member of your organisation. The manager reports to you, staff report to the manager, and the manager can fulfil all the normal duties that you would expect.
- Action:
They don't just produce reports and advise on the course of action to be taken; they 'do it', implementing whatever changes are needed.
- Ownership:
Because the manager is temporarily part of the company, responsible for implementing changes and will face the consequences of that implementation, there is a much greater degree of ownership of the project.
YCI believe care at the selection stage and getting the chemistry right is crucial to the success of any assignment.
Our registered Associates are all known to us and have been placed by us or come very highly recommended from trusted sources. We do not advertise nor do we keep a large database of unsuitable Associates.
Rigorous quality standards are applied in the selection and checking of Associates including interviews and assessment. We pride ourselves on maintaining regular close contact with client organisations and Associates placed throughout any assignment, along with high levels of support for our interim executives.
Our reputation for our quality service depends upon our performance and the delivery of our Associate in each assignment - we depend upon your satisfaction.
So what is the process?
